CHARLIE SZORADI
Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Charles A. Szoradi (Charli Szoradi) is a sustainability professional with more than 28 years of experience in energy intelligence, sustainability and cost-savings for retrofits and new construction. His two most recent pending patents for focus on advanced in-duct disinfection and tabletop disinfection to help reduce the spread of Covid-19 and future viruses. Mr. Szoradi focuses on high performance architecture, and he is a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – Accredited Professional), a Certified Building Performance Institute (BPI) Energy Auditor, a member of the Energy and Sustainability Committee for the Society of American Military Engineers, and the Leadership Council Chairman of the American LED Alliance.

In 2009, Mr. Szoradi was elected to the Board of the Sustainable Business Network and selected as a member of the Green Economy Task Force, with direct participation on the Capitol Hill Delegation. Mr. Szoradi earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia, and he earned his Masters from the University of Pennsylvania, where he wrote his Masters Thesis on Energy Intelligence – “Eco-Humanism” in the early 1990s.  He has multiple patents granted by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and is the author of Learn from Looking, which includes over two decades of his travel drawings and insight on energy-efficiency and sustainability from his travels and work around the world. Charlie Szoradi is a sought after speaker on cost-effective sustainable design, and he lives in Greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

MARY KIRK
VP of Operations & Fulfilment

Mary Kirk has over 25 years of experience in Operations, Office Management, Purchasing, Domestic and International Logistics and Customer Service.  Ms. Kirk’s ability ranges from finance and procurement to accurately tracking the flow of orders and products from production to customer site. Her ability to multi-task and adapt solutions to changing schedules and needs has allowed her to assure a smooth flow of business operations and orders through the system. Prior to working with Purge Virus, Ms. Kirk’s experience has included Office Management, Purchasing, Logistics, R&D, and Customer Service.  She has worked with customers and vendors in over 20 countries in North America, Asia, Europe, South America and the Middle East.

She has designed inventory procurement and control systems to keep production moving and minimize delays.  Her experience in assembly, creating technical drawings, writing technical manuals, and Research and Development give her a better understanding of the manufacturing process. Ms. Kirk graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Religion. In her spare time Mary Kirk is an Acrylic Pour Artist selling her paintings at local art and craft fairs and online.

JOHN CONKLIN
Chief Executive Operating Officer

John has over 34 years of industrial, commercial, and renewable and alternative energy experience; has provided companies strategic management, operations, and governance expertise, and provided technical and business consulting services to more than 50 technology, manufacturing, and industrial process companies. For the past 10‐years, he has developed and held seats as a Director on Executive Boards and as a Technical Advisor.  For the Energy Intelligence Center, John also brings his career expertise in grant writing and fundraising to create opportunities for EIC’s clients from the vast resources within the multi-trillion-dollar COVID-19 Relief Bill and the Biden Infrastructure/Jobs Bill.

Between 1999 – 2020, John focused his energies on strategic management, operations, and the development of technology from concept to proof of concepts. He has put heavy emphases on operations strategies that lead to innovation and development, and has advised on company operations strategy, financing, creation of company culture, human resources, product and technology development, compliance, safety, and investor and public relations (IR/PR).

Between 1984 – 1999 John actively managed both the technical and business requirements of various energy and industrial companies.  In additional to technical oversight, he has engaged in Sarbanes‐Oxley Section 404(b) financial management and accounting; strategic planning; product prototyping, development, and distribution; productivity and profitability analyses; inventory and cost controls; and team recruitment and management.

Over the course of his career, John has invented or co‐invented more than 18 patent filings (2010 – 2020) and developed more than 20 Trademark filings. John earned his B.S. with Suma Cum Laude Honors of Distinction from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He was inducted into the Gold Key International Honor Society awarded only to the top 15% of class and inducted into The National Society of Leadership and Success. John is a Licensed Pilot and Certified Football Official.  John has invented or co-invented more than 18 patent filings (2010 – 2020) and developed more than 20 Trademark filings.

GEOFFREY NICHOLS
VP of Sales

Geoffrey Nichols has over two decades of sales and management experience. Since 2019 he has worked with both the Energy Intelligence Center and its sister company Purge Virus to introduce accounts that seek safety and efficiency through advanced HVAC optimization and improved indoor air quality. 

Mr. Nichols has a diverse background of experience and perspective across the United States for the needs of small medium and large size business owners and operators. He grew up in New England and earned his BFA in Film Studies in Colorado.

Over the course of his career, he has also worked as an Associate / Co-Producer & Writer in Hollywood. This geographical range and diversity of sales experience makes him a tremendous asset for our offerings, and he has excellent communication and management skills to oversee our growing sales force. Mr. Nichols also has sales and management experience in the Automobile, Fine Dining, and Retail markets, which also lends credibility and ease in his ability to speak with prospective accounts about their specific needs related to sustainability.
