GERMICIDAL DISINFECTION Webinar
The webinar was on Thursday 01/28/2021 at noon EST, and it covers different types of disinfection technologies and devices that use ultraviolet light and bipolar ionization. The technologies in the presentation range from portable devices to in-duct HVAC solutions as well as ductless HVAC solutions such as PTAC disinfection, Mini-Split Systems and Ceiling Cassettes. The presentation also includes mobile disinfection that is ideal for hotels and motels and tabletop disinfection for restaurants. In each case, the alignment of the right technology to any given facility is discussed relative to improving indoor air quality (IAQ) and reducing the spread of COVID-19.
The webinar contents: Overview, What We Do, Why IAQ Technologies, Highlights on Disinfection.
In December, 2020, one of our manufacturing partners released the results of independent testing confirming that the technology is effective against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19
The line of residential, commercial, and healthcare products was independently tested for effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 by a third-party lab. In the test report, the systems repeatedly delivered greater than 5-log inactivation (>99.999%) of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in less than one second of exposure to the disinfection systems.
